A local court on Monday issued a bailable warrant against Bollywood actress Mallika Sherawat in connection with an obscenity case. The Vadodara district court issued the warrant and asked her to appear before it on 19 August.
The court had earlier issued summons to Mallika to appear before it on July 6 in the case filed against her by city-based advocate Narendra Tiwari. "If she or the advocate doesn't appear during the next date as well, I will ask the court to issue a non-bailable warrant and declare her as an absconder," said advocate Narendra Tiwari.
